Industrial Conveyor Platform

D20-one were commissioned to provide the structural modelling, analysis and design and of a new conveyor platform at an existing industrial site. Using Tekla Structural Designer we replicated the 3D structural arrangement, modelling in the primary steelwork and bracing configuration. The project involved developing a steel support frame capable of carrying not only conveyor loads, but also walkways for operators to access machinery. Careful consideration was given to load paths, especially at connection points, member sizing, bracing positioning and overall structural efficiency of the frame.
